In the tournament scene, the SHADING-X is well known for its ability to land fish in even the most highly pressured conditions. Inspired by its larger sibling, the SHADING-X 55 is optimized for the reaction approach in depths of up to 2 meters (6.5ft). With the thinnest knife-edge body of the series, and a sharp willow bill that cuts through water, the SHADING-X 55 moves with a dazzlingly tight hi-pitch wobble.

In addition, SHADING-X 55 sits with a forward-leaning posture in the water, keeping it poised to respond instantly to angler input. This allows the angler to deploy the lure’s flash and action with precision, instantly enticing target fish into reacting. The SHADING-X 55 is a multi-dimensional finesse shad that shows its true prowess in tough, heavily fished fields.

Shading-X 62

The SHADING-X’s tough, slim-body design succeeds in creating realistic darting actions with ease. The finely-tuned combination between moving tungsten balancers along its back, and fixed center-of-balance mount along the stomach, allows SHADING-X to perfectly mimic the subtle, stable swimming characteristics of shad.

The super-slim willow bill makes sharp, super high-pitch wobbling action possible. SHADING-X displays excellent stability during straight retrieves, and skillfully evades obstacles while moving along the bottom. With the movable weight system on its back, it keeps level when paused, and reverts to a forward-leaning motion during twitching and retrieves, creating responsive movements.

Shading-X 75

The upsized model of the extremely successful SHADING-X, the X75 comes in at nearly 3 inches. The knife-like body of the original is retained, as well as its trademark super-tight wobble. The increased body size allows for more accentuated flashing and wave generation.

The forward-leaning swimming posture allows for better structure evasion, and it has been tuned to allow anglers of all skill levels to effectively target bass in their hideouts. The hydrodynamically-designed cutting willow bill gives the X75 a quick and sharp response despite its larger size. Yet again, a Megabass product seeks to redefine the world of tournaments.
